Harold E. Minteer

Harold E. Minteer, 71, of Butler, passed away unexpectedly Saturday.

Born July 3, 1944, he was the son of the late Martin Andrew and Mary Elizabeth Wiles Minteer.

He enjoyed being self-employed. He had various jobs such as farming, buying and selling horses, and over the road truck driver.

His hobbies were team penning, trail riding and traveling. He loved his horses and dogs.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Stalker Minteer; his children, Michelle (Tom) Shuler of Butler and Martin Minteer of Butler; his son-in-law, Jon Beachem of Boyers; his grandchildren, Brandi (Josh) Reinert of Prospect, Dalton Shuler of Ohio, Mackenzie Shuler of Butler, Kelsey Beachem of Boyers and Colton Beachem of Boyers; his great-grandchildren, Harper and Carter Reinhardt; his sisters, Dorothy (Ed) Sinclair of Volant and Alice Minteer of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Melissa Minteer Beachem, and his siblings, Harvey Minteer and Delores Yoho.

MINTEER — Visitation for Harold E. Minteer, who died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015, will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Edward L. Raisley Funeral Home, 387 Main St., Prospect.The funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. with the Rev.
