Audrey E. Parkhill
Audrey E. Parkhill, 92, of the Braeburn section of Lower Burrell passed away peacefully Tuesday.
She was born Nov. 14, 1923, in New Kensington to the late William F. and Marie J. Barbiaux Hackett. She graduated from Arnold High School in 1942, and she was a lifelong resident of the area.
She was a member of the Braeburn United Methodist Church, sang in the church choir and belonged to the United Methodist Women.
She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
Surviving are her children, John William “Bill” Parkhill of Braeburn, David Hugh (LuAnn) Parkhill of Sarver and stepdaughter, Ruth (William) Breyak of Harwick; four grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Francis Parkhill, who died Jan. 1, 1998; and an infant son.
PARKHILL — The viewing for Audrey E. Parkhill, who died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2015, was Sunday at the ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME, 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington, where a funeral service was at 10 a.m. today.The Rev. Forrest G. Hall, her pastor, officiated.
