HARMONY — Supporters of Historic Harmony and its nine-site Harmony Museum have met a $10,000 grant-match challenge.

President John Ruch said the group’s members and friends contributed just in excess of $10,000 during the 10-week campaign that ended Nov. 30 to match a $10,000 grant from an anonymous funder.

“These financial and in-kind gifts compensate for some project costs incurred during 2015 and will enhance our ability to further improve facilities during the coming year,” Ruch said. “We are grateful for the generous responses the grant-match challenge encouraged.”

Historic Harmony raises all of its operating funds independently without reliance on continuing grants. It receives no governmental funds.

Its 2015 budget is $140,700.
