ADAMS TWP — Two runaway teens from Nebraska were arrested at the Mars High School on Friday afternoon, shortly after classes had ended.

Police Chief Bill Westerman said the teens — ages 15 and 16 — were at the school to meet a student they had been communicating with on the Internet. Police in Nebraska notified township officers that the teens were headed to the area.

Butler County juvenile probation officers were notified and took custody of the teens without incident, Westerman said.
