Jane (McBride) McKinney
Jane (McBride) McKinney, 78, of Willowick, Ohio, passed away Sunday at her home.
She was born Dec. 24, 1936, in Slippery Rock to the late James McBride and Sarah (Armbruster) McBride.
Mrs. McKinney was Protestant, and she enjoyed crocheting and sewing. Her favorite pastime was her grandchildren.
Mrs. McKinney is survived by two sons, Richard McKinney and his wife, Dawn, of Willowick, Ohio, and Brian P. McKinney and his wife, Lesli, of Mentor, Ohio; five grandchildren, Shannon Boyd and her husband, Brad, Sarah McKinney, Samantha McKinney, Megan McKinney and Kelly McKinney; three great-grandchildren, Alana Boyd, Ryan Boyd and Caden McKinney; and two sisters, Ruth Dumbaugh and Jean Rader, both of Butler.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, R. Paul McKinney, who she married June 1, 1957, and who passed away Oct. 22, 2003; three brothers, James, George and John McBride; and one sister, Mary Bratkovich.
MCKINNEY — Friends of Jane (McBride) McKinney, who died Sunday, Nov. 8, 2015, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Stephen M. Franklin of the Meridian United Presbyterian Church officiating.
