Albert E. Drewencki
Albert E. Drewencki, 87, of Cabot passed away peacefully Sunday at the Concordia Lutheran Ministries.
Born Nov. 2, 1928, in New Kensington, Pa., he was the son of the late Joseph Drewencki and Josephine (Wisniewski) Drewencki.
Albert worked at Pullman Standard, PPG and retired from Ametec. He was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Cabot, the Knights of Columbus, Mary Queen of the Franciscans, Retreads and Christian Motorcycle clubs and the Boogie Jitterbug Club.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, farming, gardening, skiing, a charismatic prayer group and card playing.
Surviving are his loving wife, Vivien Claire (Burns) Drewencki, who he married Aug. 21, 1954; his sons, Edward A. (Linda) Drewencki of Cabot and Michael J. Drewencki of Phoenix, Ariz.; his daughters, Sandra J. (Michael) Troutman of Cabot, Susan A. (Thomas) Ruffini of Leechburg, Debra A. (Rodney) Wise of Butler, Denise M. (Jeff Krstonich) Drewencki of Cabot and Beth A. (Charles) Behanna of Gibsonia; 13 grandchildren, Philip, Bradley, Chad, Brian, Zach, Jeff, Aleshia, Tawnya, Brooke, Karli, Kaitlin, Kaleb and Jacob; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and his sister-in-law, Nancy R. Daylida of Tarentum.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Reck and his brother, Raymond Drewencki.
DREWENCKI — Friends of Albert E. Drewencki, who died Sunday, Nov. 8, 2015, will be received from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Additional visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church with the Rev.
