Patricia L. Trautman Roman

Patricia L. Trautman Roman, 77, of Harmony passed away Wednesday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice, Butler, after a short illness.

Born Dec. 20, 1937, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Joseph H. and Rachael Sarver Trautman.

Pat was a life member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Connoquenessing.

She graduated from the Community College of Allegheny County in 1987 as a registered nurse. She worked for several different agencies of visiting nurses.

Patty loved to decorate her home for all occasions. She was a fan of the Pirates and Steelers. She also enjoyed sewing, baking and going to the casino.

Patty was very loving with her family and friends and was considered by many as the best nurse in the world with her sweetness, compassion and kindness for all her patients and gave the best care when you were ill.

She is survived by her loving husband, George R. Roman, who she married June 6, 1958; her sons, who she loved dearly, Gregory (Susan) Roman of Harmony and Matthew Roman of Evans City; four brothers, Larry (Diana) Trautman of Salley, S.C., Richard (Barbara) Trautman of Summerville, S.C., David Trautman of Evans City and Jeffrey (Margaret) Trautman of Portersville; one sister, Dawn (Russell) Plaisted of Connoquenessing; and her granddaughter, Katielynn Roman.

ROMAN — Friends of Patricia A. Trautman Roman, who died Nov. 3, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, 328 W. Main St., Evans City.Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Johns Lutheran Church, Connoquenessing. Burial will follow at the Church Cemetery.The family has suggested memorial donations be made to the American Lung Association, 810 River Ave. #140, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
