Dr. Timothy S. Sondej
Dr. Timothy S. Sondej, 30, of Jacksonville, Fla., formerly Middlesex Township, died unexpectedly Oct. 21.
Born March 2, 1985, in Pittsburgh, he was the beloved son of Richard and Christine (Swagler) Sondej of Middlesex Township and the dear brother of Matthew Sondej of Cranberry Township and Rachael (Ed) Pupich of West View.
He also is survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Tim was a 2003 graduate of Mars High School, and a graduate of Case Western Reserve University and Loyola University — Stritch School of Medicine.
He was a medical internist in Texas, Louisiana and Florida, and he recently was a hospitalist with First City Hospitalists Group and Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine, Fla.
Tim loved sports, especially college football, and was completely devoted to his calling in the medical profession.
SONDEJ — The family and friends of Dr. Timothy S. Sondej, who died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2015, are invited to a memorial Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. Monday at the Holy Sepulcher Catholic Church, 1304 E. Cruikshank Road, with the Rev. Robert J. Cedolia as celebrant.Private interment will take place at the Christ Episcopal Church Memorial Garden, Pittsburgh.The family suggests donations to a charity of the donor's choice.Arrangements have been entrusted to the Schellhaas Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Bakerstown.
