Desiree Ann “Dee” Massart
Desiree Ann “Dee” Massart, 64, of Butler passed away Tuesday at her home.
She was born June 13, 1951, in Butler to the late Harold R. Massart and Bertha Mae (Daubenspeck) Massart.
Dee was a cytologist at Butler Memorial Hospital for 18 years.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church. Dee loved animals and had a special love for German Shepherds.
She had trained dogs in obedience and showed her German Shepherds in the past. Dee loved to walk her dogs, and it gave her much joy when she saw how happy they were.
She also loved to spend time at her camp in West Hickory. Dee loved her family and had a heart of gold.
Dee is survived by two sisters, her twin and best friend, Deborah A. Cypher and her husband, Stanley, of Butler, and Mary L. Frost and her husband, George, of McMurray, Pa.; two brothers, William J. Massart and his wife, Carole, of Goodview, Va., and Thomas R. Massart of Vancouver, Wash.; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and her special pets, Ellie Mae, Willie, Kneehi, Molly and Peaches.
MASSART — There will be no public visitation for Desiree Ann “Dee” Massart, who died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015. Private burial and services will be at the family's convenience.Arrangements are being handled by Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E.
