Cheryl L. Jackson, 69, of Hilliards passed away at 2 a.m. Monday at her home following an extended battle with cancer.

Cheryl was born March 1, 1946, in Pittsburgh. She was the daughter of the late Frank C. Gill and the late Mary W. Detwiller Gill.

Cheryl attended the Ridgeville Methodist Church. She was a nature lover who enjoyed the outdoors and also enjoyed writing children's books.

Cheryl is survived by her husband, David Keefer, and her son, Jim Jackson of Fenelton.

She was preceded in death by an infant brother and sister.
