Joan Teresa Brueckner Weber

Joan Teresa Brueckner Weber, 81, of Prospect passed away Saturday evening at her home with her family by her side.

Born Feb. 22, 1934, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late John and Leona Fuchs Brueckner.

She was a member of the St. Christopher at the Lake Roman Catholic Church, Prospect.

Joan was a car detailer. She had worked for Russ Lawton Auto and then worked and retired from the Butler Auto Auction, now Manheim Auto.

She enjoyed gardening and her cats, Smokey and Fonzie.

She is survived by her children, Phyllis (Thomas) Genaway of Prospect; Roy “Bud” Weber Jr. of Mayfield, N.Y.; Teresa (Ed) Wamsley of Petrolia; three grandchildren, James (Donnalee) Genaway, Jeramy (Krysten) Genaway and Royce Weber; five great-grandchildren; and her sister, Diane (Michael) Whittaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy E. Weber, who she married June 6, 1953, and who passed away Oct. 3, 2013.

BRUECKNER — A memorial Mass for Joan Teresa Bruckner Weber, who died Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015, is being planned at St. Christopher at the Lake Catholic Church, with interment to follow at the Crown Hill Cemetery, Prospect.The Edward L.
