Melanie Renwick
Melanie Ann Renwick, 59, of Butler died Sunday morning at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.
Born Jan. 14, 1956, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Francis Varner and Madeline (Osche) Varner.
Melanie had worked at International Staple for 19 years, was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler and enjoyed playing Internet games, Facebook and pokeno.
Surviving is her son, Gary Renwick Jr. and his wife, Jamie, of Butler; two grandsons, Jase Renwick and Lukas Renwick; her brothers and sister, Francis “Buster” Varner and Sue of Butler, Terri (John) Aites of Mercer and Richard Varner of Butler; one sister-in-law, Jeanie (Frank) Springer of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Renwick Sr., whom she married Jan. 6, 1986, and who died March 21, 2009; and also her son, Jason Renwick, who died April 9, 2005.
RENWICK — Friends of Melanie Ann Renwick, who died Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015, will be received at the GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday.Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Harry Bielewicz, pastor, will officiate.Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.
