Karen Marie King

Karen Marie King, 69, of Butler passed away Sept. 26 at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.

She was born Jan. 24, 1946, in Arnold, Pa., the daughter of the late Joseph James and Rose P. (Kutzer) Noel.

Surviving are three daughters, Jacqueline R. Curtis of Slippery Rock, Lisa M. (David) Rodino of Arlington, Wash., and Jennifer N. (Michael) Fletcher of Butler; one son, James Smythe IV of Butler; six grandchildren, Dacia, Christopher, Christina, David, Kimberly and Zechariah; her sister, Patricia Moore of Lower Burrell; and her brothers, Vincent Noel of Sarver and Dennis Noel of New Kensington.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Ray King Sr., who died Nov. 5, 2012; her brother, James Noel; and her sister, Barbara Noel.

KING — Friends of Karen Marie King, who died Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, will be received from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at theYoung Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, followed at 11 a.m. with a Mass of Christian burial at St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church, 1660 N. Main St. Ext., Butler, with the Rev. Nicholas J.
