Jeanne Sherman
Jeanne R. “Gigi” Sherman, 96, of Butler passed away Friday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born July 18, 1919, in Brockway, Pa., to the late Alex Bovaird and Anna (Levis) Bovaird.
Mrs. Sherman was a homemaker and a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church. She enjoyed working puzzles, sewing and reading, but most of all enjoyed spending time with her family.
Mrs. Sherman is survived by her husband, Frank Dale Sherman, whom she married Dec. 31, 1948; one son, Kent O. Sherman and his wife, Claire, of Renfrew; one daughter, Rhonda J. Riskosky and her husband, Alexander, of Butler; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Edward Reddinger; six sisters; and seven brothers.
