Charles Greenlee
Charles William “Chuck” Greenlee, 58, of Prospect died unexpectedly Tuesday in his home.
He was born Nov. 25, 1956, in Washington, Pa., a son of the late Beatrice Menego Greenlee and Gaylord W. Greenlee of Claysville, Pa., who survives.
Mr. Greenlee was a 1975 graduate of Peters Township High School, where he was an avid and gifted swimmer.
He owned and operated Greenlee's Mountain Bike Shop in Prospect for several years.
Chuck enjoyed riding and racing bicycles and motorcycles. He sponsored numerous motorcycle races at various locations in the Tri-State area.
He was an avid photographer and especially loved dogs.
Another one of his passions was the annual 4th of July celebrations at his beloved family farm.
Surviving, in addition to his father, are his stepmother, Beverly of Claysville, Pa.; one sister, Claudia Fanning (Lee) of Charlotte, N.C.; and one niece, Shane Killoran of New York, N.Y.
GREENLEE — A memorial service for Charles William “Chuck” Greenlee, who died Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2015, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Claysville United Methodist Church, 1257 State Route 40, Claysville, with the Rev. Rico Vespa officiating.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053.Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Greenlee Funeral Home, 619 Main St., Bentleyville.
