Catherine M. Voland
Catherine M. Voland, 101, of Butler passed away Sunday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.
She was born July 13, 1914, at the family home in Center Township, to the late Eckmond T. Henricks and Lauretta (Heist) Henricks.
Mrs. Voland was a homemaker and a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, where she was a member of the King's Daughters Sunday School Class. Mrs. Voland was a member of the Tanglewood Center and the national and local AARP.
Mrs. Voland is survived by a number of nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; and great-great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin G. Voland, who she married Aug. 18, 1937, and who passed away Dec. 18, 1999; and two brothers, Clarence T. Henricks and Floyd J. Henricks.
VOLAND — Friends of Catherine M. Voland, who died Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015, will be received from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.Funeral services will immediately follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev.
