In loving memory of my beloved Pete Stivason who passed away eight years ago today.

Eight long years, sometimes feels like eight days. Every single detail of that day remains very vivid in my mind.

You don’t realize how final a simple goodbye really is. You think of all the things that you didn’t say as well as all of life’s experiences that you didn’t get to share, with this person.

One evening you kiss good night and the next the love of your life is gone forever, never to return. It’s like a nightmare and you’re waiting to wake up.

Someday dear, I will meet you in that beautiful garden and we will go off together and return to our life together.

Until that time sweetheart, your love will keep me going. All my love till we meet again.
