Today is your birthday,

But it’s not like before,

Because you see, mom,

You aren’t with us anymore.

There won’t be a cake

Or any presents for you,

Just eyes full of tears

And hearts sad and blue.

All we can do now

Is take flowers to your grave,

And whisper, “Happy Birthday To You.”
