Priscilla L. Angert
Priscilla L. Angert, 77, of Maple Road, Karns City, passed away late Wednesday evening at her home while surrounded by family and friends.
Priscilla was born July 31, 1938, in Kellersburg. She was the daughter of Arnold C. and Geraldine Bish Miller. Priscilla graduated from Petrolia High School.
She was a member of the Karns City United Methodist Church. She enjoyed baking, knitting and gardening, and she enjoyed the company of family and friends at her home.
She worked for many years as a caregiver at several area nursing homes.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond J. Angert, who died in 2004.
She is survived by two daughters, Darleen R. Angert and Marleen K. Bachman, both of Chicora; two sons, Stephen J. Angert and his wife, Lucretia, of Karns City and Christopher M. Angert of East Brady; a daughter-in-law, Charlotte Angert of Karns City; three grandchildren, Zachary Angert and his wife, Jaime, of Carbon Center, Brittney Angert of Butler and Michael Angert of Karns City; two great-granddaughters, Skyler and Hailee; three brothers, Curwin Miller of Cincinnati, Ohio, Gary Miller and his wife, Ruth, of Kaylor, Pa., and Alan Miller and his wife, Rose, of East Brady; her sister, Jean Neal and her husband, Lester, of Oil City; her best friend, Peggy Smith of Chicora; as well as a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Angert, who died in 2005, and her brother, Elton Scott Miller.
ANGERT — A funeral service for Priscilla L. Angert, who died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2015, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Hile Funeral Home, 128 Main St., Karns City, with the Rev. Jim Lewis, pastor of the Karns City United Methodist Church, and the Rev.
