Jean Prusick

Jean Prusick, 84, of Sarver passed away Thursday at the Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

Born April 3, 1931, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Francizek Gasowski and Czeslawa Borkowski Gasowski

Jean was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Cabot. She enjoyed needlepoint and floral arranging.

Surviving are four daughters, Kathy (Robert) Makowski of Butler, Valerie (Donald) Stumpf of Cabot, Victoria (Kenneth) Mikolas of Sarver and Mary (Jeffrey) Walsh of Lower Burrell; eight grandchildren, Jessica, Heather, R.J., Gary, Ryan, Libby, Rachel and Alex; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Edward W. Prusick, who died Jan. 24, 2002.

PRUSICK — Friends of Jean Prusick, who died Thursday, Oct. 1, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Church, with the Rev.
