Hospital's new medical building opens next month
SUMMIT TWP — Construction is nearly done on Butler Health System's new medical office building at the intersection of routes 422, 38, and 68.
This campus, to be renamed BHS' Crossroads Campus, will open Nov. 9.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be at 4 p.m. Nov. 12 with building tours following. The public is invited to attend.
The Crossroads campus, consisting of the existing building at 127 Oneida Valley Road and the new building at 129 Oneida Valley Road, will allow Butler Health System to create an outpatient campus within a mile of the hospital.
The new 48,000-square foot, three-story office building will house a laboratory, x-ray, preadmission testing, BHS Surgical Associates, the Women's Imaging Center, BHS Women's Care Associates, and cancer care.
Cardiology services, including electrophysiology, cardiology testing, will remain in the current building.
