In Jacob Shipton's Eagle Scout recognition, which appeared in Sunday's edition, it was omitted that he fixed one broken bench and built and placed six new benches. Also, his grandfather, Leroy Shipton, served in the Korean War and his uncle, Harold John Thompson, died serving in World War II. The family members were linked to the wrong wars.
