William Lee Kroner
William Lee Kroner, 72, of Cranberry Township passed away Wednesday under the care of the VNA Hospice at St. John's Specialty Care Center in Mars.
Born Feb. 20, 1943, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late John and Catherine (Bell) Kroner.
Bill proudly served his country for 27 years in the U.S. Army and Air Force in the 911th Airlift Wing (AFRES).
After 37 years, he retired from Mine Safety Appliances (MSA) as an electronics technician.
Bill shared a love for cars, computers and a “good cup of coffee.”
Most importantly, no matter which path or road in life Bill was on, he had a special gift to continuously make friends along the way. He will be greatly missed by family, friends and neighbors.
He leaves behind, his two children, Lisa Marie (Kroner) Lind and her husband, Anthony Matthew Lind, of Shaler Township and Terry Paul Kroner and his wife, Rebecca Jo Kroner, of Prospect; his sister, Marcelline Kroner of Georgia; and his two grandchildren, Travis Andrew Kroner, son of Terry, and Ryan Philip McKinney, son of Lisa.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his three brothers, John “Jack,” Joseph and Jim Kroner.
KRONER — A full military honors ceremony for William Lee Kroner, who died Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E.
