Virginia Lee “Ginger” Keesy Foster

Virginia Lee “Ginger” Keesy Foster, 83, of Inverness, Fla., formerly of Butler, passed away Saturday at her home of natural causes. She lived with her daughter, Ginnie Moore.

She was born Aug. 28, 1932, in Armstrong County, the daughter of the late Howard Keesy and the late Laura Shearer Keesy.

She was a retired truck driver.

She attended the Freeport Road Christian and Missionary Alliance Church of Butler.

She held several offices including, president of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary of Freeport.

She was a volunteer at the CMA Edinboro Conference Grounds in Edinboro for 30 years.

Surviving are six daughters, Darlene Kay (Pete) Geibel of Butler, Connie Foster of Pittsburgh, Diane (Greg) Dolby of Pleasant Plains, Ohio, Sally Linton of Lansing, Mich., Ginnie (John) Moore of Inverness, Fla., and Patti Foster of Lake Wales, Fla.; 15 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandson.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 55 years, Kenneth Foster; her daughter, Sherri Dunci; and three brothers.

FOSTER — There will be no visitation for Virginia Lee “Ginger” Keesy Foster, who died Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015. A celebration of life will be held later.Memorial donations may be made to the Edinboro Conference Grounds, 12940 Fry Road, Edinboro, PA 16412.
