Joshua L. Stitt
Joshua L. Stitt, 33, of Chicora passed away Wednesday.
Born Dec. 26, 1981, in Butler, he was the son of Daniel L. and Donna M. (Lerch) Stitt.
A 2000 graduate of Karns City High School, Josh was a brick layer for 14 years.
A member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Josh enjoyed hunting and fishing, riding 4-Wheelers and being outdoors. He found the greatest pleasure in being a father to his son, Liam.
Surviving are his son Liam Stitt; his father, Daniel Stitt; one brother, Michael Stitt and his fiance, Danielle Brown; and one sister, Hillary Stitt, all of Chicora; and his grandparents, Ron and Madeline Stitt of Fairview Township.
Josh is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
STITT — Friends of Joshua L. Stitt, who died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015, will be received from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Buechele Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 707 Kellys Way, East Brady.A parish prayer service will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Bradys Bend, with the Rev. John Butler officiating. Burial will follow in St. Eusebius Cemetery.The Stitt family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made payable to Daniel Stitt for Liam's future educational expenses, c/o NexTier, 130 Hummingbird Plaza, Chicora.
