Jeffrey B. Lovett

Jeffrey B. Lovett, 54, of Harrisville passed away Tuesday at Allegheny Hospital in Pittsburgh. Jeff drifted away after a courageous battle with cancer with his loving family and friends by his side.

Jeff was born Feb. 3, 1961, in Grove City to the late James Lovett and Elaine H. Heim Lovett. He graduated from Franklin High School in 1979.

Jeff married his best friend and the love of his life, Jennie Benton, on May 10, 1980. They spent 35 blessed years of marriage together.

Jeff was vice president of operations for the FORTA Corp. for 35 years. Jeff took great pride in FORTA and loved it very much. Jeff had several patents related to the concrete and plastic industry that he had developed. He leaves behind a very close group of colleagues.

Jeff was a man who stayed busy. He had various projects going on around his house and yard.

He enjoyed being outside working and spending time with his dog, Crosby. Jeff was a family man as well as his wife and children always came rst and he loved having them all together.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Jennie Lovett of Harrisville; his sons, Christopher Lovett and his soon to be daughter-in-law, Chanel Patterson, and Garrett Lovett (Megan Dagres).

Also surviving are his sister, Sandra Bice of Harrisville; sisters-in-law, Pam, Mary and Bertiva Lovett of Harrisville; brothers-in-law, Steve and Kathy Benton of Grosse Ile, Mich., Mike and Jodi Benton of Ashland, Ohio, Jon and Susan Benton of Jacksonville, Fla., Tim and Heidi Benton of Bellevue, Wash., Bruce and Brenda Benton of Slippery Rock; sister-in-law, Cindy Benton of Homer, N.Y.; and his aunts and uncles, Pearl and Earl Smith of Grove City, Ruth and Sherwell Berringer of Grove City and Tootie Gefell of Verona.

Jeff is also survived by the Forta family. They were a big part of Jeff's life, and he considered them all family.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, James and Elaine Lovett; his brothers, John Lovett, Joe Lovett and Jim Lovett Jr.; a brother-in-law, Bob Bice; and his in-laws, Steve and Lauretta Benton.

LOVETT — The family of Jeffrey B. Lovett, who died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2015, will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the LARRY E. McKinley Funeral Home, 109 Emlenton St., Clintonville.The funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Willard Morse.
