CRANBERRY TWP — Butler County is going on national television, according to Jack Cohen, president of the Butler County Tourism and Convention Bureau.

Cohen made the announcement at the monthly board of directors meeting Thursday.

The national syndicated television show called “World’s Greatest” contacted the bureau with interest in doing a segment on the county, Cohen said.

Cohen said “World’s Greatest” goes to communities and finds the greatest things that go on in these communities, Cohen said.

According to the company’s website, the show is done by the award winning researchers and producers at How 2 Media (H2M) in Delray Beach, Fla.

H2M is a television production company dedicated to bringing its viewers informative, educational and entertaining television through national cable networks.

Cohen said the show wants to discuss Washington’s Trail, John Roebling and the invention of the Jeep.

The film crews will be in the county from Florida on Nov. 20.

“We will be on a nationally syndicated TV show. Butler County is now part of the world’s greatest,” Cohen said. “How cool is that?”
