Board agrees to give Meridian land to VFD
BUTLER TWP — Butler School Board members Monday night agreed to donate a 25-foot strip of land on the edge of the Meridian Elementary School property to the Butler Township Volunteer Fire Department, subject to further review of the plan and subsequent action by the board.
The department requested the land, the entire length of one side of the Meridian Elementary property, for water runoff purposes. The land has not yet been surveyed.
