Glade Run Lutheran Services says it is appealing a state action that withdrew one of the four licenses for its residential treatment facilities in Zelienople.

The license was pulled by the state Department of Human Services following a two-month investigation initiated by calls to the agency alleging sexual activity was occurring among some of the children.

The appeal allows the facility to continue operating while the appeal is being adjudicated.
