Elinor G. Lubbert

Elinor G. Lubbert, 92, of Middlesex Township, Valencia, formerly of Morningside, Pa., passed away Monday morning at LAS St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.

Born Aug. 9, 1923, in Vandergrift, Pa., she was the daughter of the late William A. and Carrie Ann Linsinbigler Lubbert.

Elinor has been the head cashier for the A&P grocery store.

She was a lifelong member of the Morningside Presbyterian Church, where she had perfect attendance every Sunday until it closed. She currently was a member of the Glade Run United Presbyterian Church and the Pittsburgh Doll Club.

Surviving are her sister-in-law, Margaret Lubbert of Valencia; and her nephews, William Lubbert and James (Beverly) Lubbert of Valencia, Howard Lubbert of Prospect and Paul (Janet) Lubbert of Mars.

She was preceded in death by her brother, William Lubbert.

LUBBERT — Friends of Elinor G. Lubbert, who died Monday, Sept. 7, 2015, will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Greg Wiest, pastor of Glade Run United Presbyterian Church, officiating.
