SARVER — The NRA Saxonburg District Sportsman's Club will host a basic pistol course Oct. 13, 15 and 17.

The course will run from 6:30 to 10 p.m. the first two nights, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 17. Cost is $80.

GIBSONIA — Treesdale Golf & Country Club will participate in the 2015 ClubCorp Charity Classic, which raised $2.4 million nationwide last year for Augie's Quest and a variety of charities throughout the country.Treesdale will hold a golf outing Oct. 12 to benefit this cause. Fee is $99 per golfer, or a $50 donation for dinner only. Shotgun start is at noon.Since its inception in 2007, ClubCorp's Charity Classic has raised over $14 million for charities including Augie's Quest, Susan G.
