Susan L. Hays

Susan L. Hays, 58, of Portersville, formerly of Evans City, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday afternoon with her family at her side at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

“Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His Saints,” Psalm 116:15.

Born Oct. 9, 1956, in Rochester, Pa., she was the daughter of Betty Miller Kramzar and the late Frank Kramzar.

A homemaker, Susan was a member of the First Bible Baptist Church of Harmony.

Susan enjoyed traveling and camping, and she and her family had made many trips around the country in their travel trailer.

Surviving are her husband, Larry L. Hays, who she married July 31, 1982; her children, Benjamin Hays and his wife, Deborah, of Frederick, Md., and Timothy Hays and Sarah Hays, both of Portersville; her grandchildren, Abigail, Micah, Caleb, Luke and Hannah Hays; her mother, Betty Kramzar of Edmond, Okla.; her sister, Kathleen Epps and her husband, William, of Edmond, Okla.; her brother, John Kramzar of Greenville, N.C.; her niece, Jackie Kramzar; and her nephew, Daniel Epps.

HAYS — Friends of Susan L. Hays, who died Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015, will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. David Smith, pastor, officiating.
