Helen A. Kuzma
Helen A. Kuzma, 89, of Vowinckel, Clarion County, formerly of West Sunbury and Slippery Rock, passed away at 1:50 p.m. Friday at Brookville Hospital following a short illness.
Helen was born Dec. 29, 1925, in Oakland Township, Butler County. She was the daughter of the late Peter M. Karenbauer and the late Agatha W. Weiland Karenbauer.
Helen was a homemaker and a former member of St. Louis Catholic Church. She was also a member of the American Legion Post 243 Ladies Auxiliary.
Helen is survived by three daughters, Yvonne Montgomery of North Carolina, Rochelle Kuzma of Karns City and Janet (Harry Lang) Kuzma of Vowinckel; one son, Gary Nicholas (Sherry) Kuzma of Boyers; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Kuzma Jr., who died Sept. 2, 2000. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family having been preceded in death by one sister and nine brothers.
KUZMA — The family of Helen A. Kuzma, who died Friday, Aug. 28, 2015, will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury.A blessing service will be at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. James Bedillion of St. Alphonsus Parish officiating.
