ADAMS TWP — A new day care will be the latest addition to the Shoppes at Heritage Creek development.

Engineer Alan Beechy at Monday’s township supervisors meeting displayed plans for a 10,000-square-foot day care in an area of the development on Route 228 near the Mars Bank.

A parking lot and play yard are included in the plan.

Beechy said as requested by the township planning commission, the plan will include a driving loop so school buses accessing the facility will not have to back up.

Another request by the planning commission was for sidewalks to extend to Sharberry Lane, which Beechy said was added.

The supervisors did approve the day care center plans. It is not known when work will begin on the project.
