Justine M. “Beanie” Kendrick
Justine M. “Beanie” Kendrick of Denham Springs, La., formerly of Butler, passed away Thursday.
Justine was the beloved daughter of William B. and Gera Dumencic Kendrick of Denham Springs, La.; the sister of Gennifer Kendrick; the granddaughter of Frances DePriest Kendrick of Shaler Township and the late Ralph W. Kendrick Sr. and the late Anthony J. and Martha J. Wagner Dumencic; the aunt of the late Jayce Rhydar; the niece of Michael A., Ralph Jr., Kenneth R. and Brian K. Kendrick, Martha K. Wahl, Thomas Dumencic and the late Steven A. Dumencic; and she is also survived by her cousins.
Beanie was a pioneering female varsity football player for Knoch High School, where she also was on the swimming, volleyball and track team. She was a customer service representative and warehouse worker for Walmart, mostly at the Watson and Denham Springs, La., locations. She loved animals, especially panda bears.
