Mary June Coast

Mary June Coast, 93, of Sugarcreek Station, Franklin, Pa., passed away peaceful Sunday.

Mary was born June 30, 1922, in Franklin. She was the daughter of Horace Miller and Mary Jane Fletcher Miller.

Mary received her education at Franklin High School. She married Donald Glenn Coast on Sept. 1, 1960, at the Barkeyville Methodist Church. Donald passed away Dec. 1, 2011.

Mary had worked for G.C. Murphy's in Franklin and also at Polk State School.

Mary enjoyed crafting and quilting. She was very active at the nursing home. She loved to attend Bible study and the various activities the home provided. She also attended Barkeyville Methodist Church when she lived in the area.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Mary Lou Nevel of Oil City and one brother, Glenn D. Miller of Meadville.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband and her brother, Herbert M. Miller; and her sisters, Jean Lightner, Lenia Miller and Margaret Long.

COAST — The family of Mary June Coast, who died Sunday, Aug. 23, 2015, will receive friends from 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home, 109 Emlenton St., Clintonville.The funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Kenneth Hughes of the Barkeyville Methodist Church officiating.Interment will take place at the Clintonville Methodist Cemetery.Friends can e-mail condolences by visiting www.mckinleyfuneralhome.net.
