SLIPPERY ROCK — The Slippery Rock University women’s cross country team earned the top nine spots in a 15-50 win over Robert Morris University at Cooper’s Lake on Saturday.

Senior Leah Anne Wirfel led the way with a time of 22 minutes, 16.57 seconds on the six-kilometer course.

Also placing in the top 10 for The Rock were Butler graduate Alexis Swiergol (third, 24:42.31), Slippery Rock High graduate Jessica Bennett (seventh, 25:32.48) and Grove City product Christine Potsubay (ninth, 25:40.97).
