Brandon Johnson

CLINTON TWP — The 14th annual East Coast Race Against Cancer, held Friday through Sunday at McCullough’s R/C Raceway on Callen Road, raised $20,000.

About 210 racers entered the radio-controlled car event. Proceeds are going to the American Cancer Society.

Since the event was founded it has raised more than $111,000.

Brandon Johnson of Dormont is teaching English at the Gloria English School in Taiwan.

Johnson graduated from West Middlesex High School in 2010. He received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Pittsburgh in 2014.

Johnson is the son of Tina Cortese of Seven Fields and Charles and Paula Johnson of Fenelton.
