Born Jan. 6, 1923, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late James A. and Helen M. (Hemp) McDowell.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, the late Thomas B. Henry, and her sister, Eleanor J. Sahli.

She is survived by her daughter, Sue L. Henry of Valencia and her son, Thomas G. (Gail) Henry of Gibsonia. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kate, Nikolai and Rachel; and her sister-in-law, R. Elaine Settlemire of Mars.

She was employed as a beautician for many years at the William Penn Hotel in Pittsburgh where she worked with her sister, E.J. The sisters had many clients in Squirrel Hill and Shadyside and delighted in telling stories about being treated by their clients to limo rides and holiday lunches in their clients' homes.

Marion was a proud supporter of her husband's and then son's Chevrolet dealership franchise, Tom Henry Chevrolet in Bakerstown. She loved spending time in Geneva, Ohio, at a lake home in the 1960s and most recently in Scottsdale, Ariz., in the 1990s. She especially enjoyed three barge trips to France.
