Diane M. Baxter
Diane M. Baxter, 74, of Mars passed away Monday afternoon at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township.
Born Sept. 24, 1940, in Ben Avon, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Jay and Marie Kimmel Kress.
A homemaker, Diane enjoyed painting and was a certified Bob Ross painting instructor.
Surviving are four daughters, Diane Hassinger and her husband, Dale, and Deborah Jabaut and her husband, John, both of Prospect, Jayne Yobst and her husband, Lonnie, of Saxonburg and Tracy Yendell and her husband, Matt, of Mars; one son, Jason Baxter and his wife, Tina, of Lyndora; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Shirley Sitton of Evans City.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jay Cain Baxter, who she married on March 11, 1960, and who died on Feb. 19, 2012; and by one grandson, Matthew Cain Hassinger.
