Peggy A. Beiring (Hancherick), formerly of Harmony and Ellwood City, passed away Jan. 11 in Niceville, Fla.

She was the daughter of the late George Beiring and Marie Antoinetta Grassia Grodek.

She is survived by her sons, Jeffery Hancherick (Jennifer) of Damon, Texas, and Jay Hancherick (Sue) of Ellwood City; her daughter, Judy Griffin (Mike) of Niceville, Fla.; and her grandchildren, Brandi, Katie, Jarrod, Shannon and Annie.

Peggy was a graduate of Butler Community College and worked as a writer before becoming an insurance agent for American General Insurance. She moved to Florida where she worked at the Crestview library until she retired.
