Erika soaks Caribbean
A boat sits in shallow water today at the eastern Caribbean island of Dominica, which was lashed by Tropical Storm Erika. The storm was expected to move near Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands today and be near the Dominican Republic as it heads toward Florida early next week, possibly as a hurricane. Rescue crews in Dominica continued to search for missing and injured people after the storm dropped 15 inches of rain as it passed over the island. Four people were killed.
