Martha J. McGinley
Martha J. McGinley, 81, of Butler passed away Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
She was born Nov. 1, 1933, in Butler, the daughter of the late Maurice M. Bonnett and Dorothy L. (Bowser) Bonnett.
Martha was a retired nurse and was the first full-time nurse at Butler Memorial Hospital's emergency room. She was a member of Butler Nurse's Alumni and enjoyed playing cards and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are her daughter, Marlene (James) Allen of Evans City; two sons, James McGinley of New Kensington and Mark (Stacy) McGinley of Karns City; four grandchildren, James Allen, Nicholas and Joshua McGinley and Rachel McGinley; and her brother, George R. (Carol) Bonnett of Butler.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hugh M. McGinley, who died Jan. 4, 2005; and her twin brothers.
MCGINLEY — Friends of Martha J. McGinley, who died Wednesday, July 22, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dennis Krajacic, pastor of Community Alliance Church, officiating.Interment will be at the Butler County Memorial Park, Butler.
