Cody Morris

Cody Eugene Morris, 24, of Slippery Rock Township passed away at 2 p.m. Sunday at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh.

He was born on June 10, 1991, in Greenville, Pa., to Gene Morris and Brenda Sue Gault Morris.

He attended the St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Slippery Rock. Cody loved music, going to yard sales and flea markets, swimming, dancing and going to camp.

He is survived by his father, Gene of Slippery Rock; three sisters, Kayla Sue Morris and Stacy Randall, both of Slippery Rock, and Lynann Morrison of Meadville; his maternal grandfather, Abraham Gault of Andover, Ohio; two nieces; three nephews, and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother; his sister, Gina Renee France; his paternal grandparents, Margaret and Donald Colosimo; and his maternal grandmother.

MORRIS — The family of Cody Eugene Morris, who died Sunday, July 19, 2015, will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Smith Funeral Home, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Edwin P. Christmann, deacon of the St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, presiding. Interment will be at the Prairie Cemetery, Harrisville.Memorial contributions may be made to the Woodlands Foundation, a camp for special needs from ages youth to adult, 134 Shenot Road, Wexford, PA 15090.
