Shakespeare with Schtick, three original one-act plays written by Don Orwald, will be staged by the Don Orwald Arts Initiative at 7 p.m. Aug. 28 and 29 and at 2 p.m. Aug. 30 at Preston Park, 415 S. Eberhart Road. Times may change. Orwald, a Butler native now residing in Texas, offers retakes of “Macbeth” and “Hamlet.” There will be some adult action and humor. Butler Little Theatre will kick off its 75th season with a picnic Saturday in the parking lot at the theater at One Howard St. Social time and games begin at 4 p.m. followed by a catered dinner at 5 p.m. and improv entertainment at 7 p.m. Dinner will include chicken and barbecued beef, salads and desserts. Comtra Theatre, Route 19, Cranberry Township, presents the musical “Two by Two” through Saturday. “Seussical, the Musical” runs Aug. 28 and 29 and Sept. 4, 5, 11 and 12.
