Eric Thomas Deal, 34, of Butler passed away at 1:15 a.m. Friday at his home.

He was born Sept. 26, 1980, in Watertown, S.D., to Eric E. Deal and Lori L. (Weisenstein) Eury.

Eric was a Protestant. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Eric is survived by his daughter, Destiny Deal-Galore of Butler; his mother, Lori L. Eury and his stepfather, Kirk L. Eury of Butler; his father, Eric E. Deal of East Butler; his sister, Vanessa M. Desch and her husband, Owen, of Butler; his grandmothers, Helen V. Weisenstein of Butler and Lucille Weisenstein of Watertown, S.D.; and his paternal grandparents, Ervin T. Deal and his wife, Georgia, of East Butler.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Karl D. Weisenstein; and his uncle, Kurtis Weisenstein.

DEAL — Friends of Eric Thomas Deal, who died Friday, July 17, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.Funeral services will immediately follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Todd Wentworth, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.
