Baden man faces child pornography charges
BADEN, Beaver County — A Baden man is facing multiple child pornography charges following an online investigation by the state attorney general’s office.
Keith S. Shillingburg, 38, is charged with two counts of distribution of child pornography, 14 counts of possession of child pornography and one count of criminal use of a communication facility after authorities found multiple images of suspected child pornography on the computer in his home on Dettmar Avenue.
Shillingburg was taken to the Beaver County Prison after failing to post $50,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is set for Monday.
The attorney general’s office said in a release that agents identified a computer on a peer-to-peer network site sharing media files believed to depict child pornography. Shillingburg’s residence was identified as the alleged source.
Agents from the office’s Child Predator Section and the Baden Police Department executed a search warrant at the home, and a search of his computer revealed multiple images of suspected child pornography, the release said.
