Juanita Downing

Juanita Elizabeth Downing, 89, of Round O, S.C., formerly of Butler, passed away Wednesday at the home of her granddaughter, Bonnie Griebel-Hall.

She was born July 14, 1926, in Clarion County, the daughter of the late James Earl and Helen (Bowen) Womeldorf.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and sister. She liked embroidering, playing bingo, cards and flower gardening.

Surviving are her son, Henry Paul Downing; her brothers, Lonnie Womeldorf, Wesley Womeldorf and James Womeldorf; her sister, Dorothy Fike; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Downing; and two daughters, Betty Jane Downing and Linda Beary.

DOWNING — Friends of Juanita Elizabeth Downing, who died Wednesday, July 15, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.

Services will be at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Monday. Interment will be at the Greenlawn Burial Estates.
