Virginia Alice Dexter, 81, of Butler passed away Monday at VNA Inpatient Hospice.

She was born June 9, 1934, in West Liberty, Pa., the daughter of the late Carl and Helen (Uffelman) Thompson.

Virginia had worked at Isaly's and had attended Grace @Calvary Church.

Surviving is her sister, Nancy Ferrari of Butler.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Mae Blowers and Grace Christy; and two brothers.
