Karen M. Brownlee
Karen M. Brownlee, 52, of Treesdale, Adams Township, formerly of Squirrel Hill, passed away Friday evening in the comfort of her home with her family at her side.
Born on Oct. 12, 1962, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of Ellen Eck Brownlee and the late Harry Brownlee.
A graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a bachelor's degree in economics, she then graduated with a J.D. from University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
Karen was the general counsel for Confluence.
She was a member of St. Kilian Church, the PA Bar Association, the Treesdale Golf and Country Club and the Eastport Yacht Club.
Surviving are her husband, Jay L. Panzarella, who she married on Jan. 29, 1997; her sons, Justin and Ian Panzarella, both at home; her mother, Ellen Brownlee of Williamsport; her sister, Beth Rowe (Michael) of Vandergrift; five brothers, Gary T. Brownlee (Roberta) of Valparaiso, Ind., Michael S. Brownlee (Joan) of Pittsburgh, Eric J. Brownlee (Mayuree) of Reno, Nev., Thomas E. Brownlee of Pottstown and Robert M. Brownlee (Joy) of Madison, N.J.; and nieces and nephews.
BROWNLEE — Friends of Karen M. Brownlee, who died Friday, July 10, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.The Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Kilian Church, corner of Clark and Cherry streets, Mars, with the Rev.
